this drawing is so beautiful! there's so much detail in the hair. (i can see every strand!) the angle of the face is very nice. (i think you need just a few more shadows). the skin tone is a very nice color choice. the hair strand that's hanging from the ear looks a bit odd to me (just me) it starts out as a thin strip and then grows into a big band. either the hair in the thin strip needs to look thicker (more shading? to make it look thicker) OR thin out the thick band of hair on the bottom. (let whatever's behind the hair show through. like the neck or the hair on the other side). also, i find the nose/mouth area a bit odd too. individudally they are perfect. either the mouth needs to be tilted slightly down, or the nose needs to be tilted slightly up. (in my opinion). but, i absolutely love the shape of the mouth. and i love how you drew the eyes! great job!
i think it's a very beautiful drawing...
but the title doesn't fit, i don't think of the godess of fire when i see this...i think of...just an everyday girl.

Comment from the Artist: Many Greek and Roman goddesses come in many forms, even those that just look like regular girls, so it's not an uncommon thing. I guess it all boils down to a matter of opinion.

What a flawless complexion she has! I can definately see why she would be titled as a goddess. I especially appreciate the amount of time taken into the hair, especially with such a nice combination of colors. How come I can never get my brows to be that perfect? Ahh.. no use questioning it.
This is very well drawn, the structure of her face is almost near perfect. I do wonder however about the perspective of her ear. It seems to be skewed a bit far forwards, but then again that could be my own eye.
A very nice job. I also like how you added the highlight around the frame of the head in the background. A very nice touch to bring the figure forward to the viewer.
Wow nice story. I can tell this is something which you spent quite alot of energy on and put a substantial amount of thought into.
I really like it, she's beautiful. I especially love her hair and her eyes.

Across the globe, 27 million men, women, and children live in some form of slavery. That is more people at this moment than in all the centuries of the Atlantic Slave Trade. Something must be done. This contest serves two purposes: Raising awareness about human trafficking and raising funds for the Not For Sale organization.
