This picture would make a very good story. IT's very clean and I love the hair, like you drew every single hair.

And I know what it's like to be too lazy to write a story, I'm doing it right now too ^^.

excellent work vixen... I love what you do with pencil. I'm a huge fan of charcoal and pencil so keep up the good work! :)

She's very lovely and the smooth quality of shading is amazing. I also like the texture of the fabric on her - it looks as if it was very thin but folded and creased, a very nice-looking effect. I wonder, though, if her forearm isn't just a little bit too wide? But it might just be me. All in all it's very beautiful, are you planning some background for her?
:iconvixen21:
Comment from the Artist: Hmmm... The forearm may be a bit too long, but that probably came about because I was struggling with that damned hand. Do you have any suggestions that might make it look a little smaller?

As for a background... I have contemplated doing a simple background, but the paper I used for this doesn't have a lot of space (I probably have about a half an inch left on her sides and even less around above and below her), so I'm not really sure what I could do.

Thanks for stopping by and commenting! :)

No, no, not too long. Too wide. I think you should just make it a little thinner and you'll be fine. The lenght is OK. Just make the part between the elbow and the palm thinner, that shouldn't be too hard to do, unless this pencil you used is hard to erase. As for some simple background that wouldn't require a lot of space you could draw some e.g. some tree shapes, not very clear even, could be blurry. And you could draw a few lines to hint that she's sitting in the grass. But this is just off the top of my head.
:iconvixen21:
Hmm... Now that I don't know if I can fix. I actually didn't use graphite, I used charcoal which I've never been able to erase entirely. There might be a chance that I could blend the rest of body over it, but I'm not so certain I'm willing to risk the whole picture for it.

I appreciate some of the ideas for the background. Maybe when I get sick of my current drawing I'll go back and give it a try. :)
