What the superior man seeks is in himself; what the small man seeks is in others. - Confucius
1) I tend to think they're great when I first see their art, but after months sometimes I tend to feel bored with some of their work.
2) three words: influx (of) mature content. Yiff, boobies, nudes, sexually suggestive art.
I have no respect and little appreciation for any of it. (except the occasional tasteful artistic nude drawn CORRECTLY) Oh my gosh, you would no believe how many girl draw boobs totally wrong. Guys have an excuse: they don't have them. Girl's don't have an excuse, they're on your chest you see them everyday. You should be able to properly replicate them! >_<
In one case it also involved a girl's views on sexuality and her art. Now I am aware that everyone is entitled to their own views and opinions, but I'm also entitled to mine. Her art took a much more mature turn. And he attitude about it was very "Well people are sexual. Get over it and suck it up." (she was not of course addressing me personally, but I don't like that attitude when people throw it in my face instead of being understanding about MY views. I realized her art was going somewhere I couldn't relate to thus I stopped watching her.
Those are the main reasons, although another includes when they leave DA or become extreamly inactive.
Personal pet peeves though include :
-WHen they don't interact with me. Very popular artists may not have the time, I know they get thousands of comments. But when you've got 10 watchers and I'm one of them? I'd like alittle interaction thank you.
-When they add me to their watch list and NEVER COMMENT. If you're going to watch me then look at my freakin work and comment.
I think I've got like 15 ppl watching me currently - know how many actually comment regularly? Haha.......two. I'm trying to think of ways to remedy that but I'm not sure I can.

"They will not let us help them. They have chosen cunning instead of belief. Their prison is only in their own minds, yet they are in that prison; and are so afraid of being 'taken in' that they cannot be taken out." -Aslan
The second was someone who had never posted any deviations, only one journal, and had joined b/c of a mutual friend IRL, but had abandoned DA and their profile was dead for over a year.
The third was an ex-girlfriend who decided to be as rude as possible and hate me irrationally despite the fact I actually went out of my way to be polite and only constructively criticize her.
So, apparently I'm very creepy to mentally deficient and/or emotionally disturbed females.
I mean I've freaking left glaring problems in intentionally at least twice on fairly prominent pieces intentionally just to see if anyone would A. comment in that case, and B. if anyone would notice.
